The Roswell Wedding Council is a group of Roswell based wedding businesses that have monthly meetings to help familiarize ourselves with everything Historic Roswell has to offer as well as put on an annual wedding showcase to share our offerings with brides. We are tight nit group that maintains a high standard of ethics and quality. 

If you have an existing wedding focused business or have recently opened a new wedding business in the city of Roswell we invite you to join the Roswell Wedding and Special Occasions Council. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping all local Roswell wedding business owners improve the quality of their business by interacting with other well-established wedding business owners.

Historic Weddings

In 1853, Mittie Bulloch married Theodore Roosevelt in her family’s mansion, creating a social scene that would dominate the Roswell village for months. Years later, the event attracted the attention of author Margaret Mitchell, who was so fascinated by the Bulloch – Roosevelt wedding that she interviewed the last living bridesmaid for a story published in The Atlanta Constitution. Thus began the tradition of outstanding events in Roswell. Whatever the occasion – a reunion, wedding, reception, business meeting or gathering – Roswell is the perfect setting.
